I am a Nigerian and I am learning about these nicknames for the first time. But could you also tell us the reasons for these nicknames?

Hello Orikinla Osinachi :)
I would be more than happy to give the reasons behind these nicknames. I will try to add this to the post by next week or sooner, depending on the time I have available.

If recent history continues, we will have to change FL to "The Hurricane State".
